Glass artisans on the island of Murano, Italy, create each bowl as an individual piece of art. Their closely guarded formulas achieve unparalleled hues and iridescence in each and every piece. Molten glass is first spun in a centrifuge, then rested in a mold to form the base shape. In the final step, an artisan forms the top edge of the piece by hand. No two are alike.
